AWANA Club

VCA Elementary
We host Victory Christian Academy's elementary school. VCA is an independent, non-denominational Christian School serving Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties, offering classes for preschool through 12th grade. For more information, visit: www.vcacademy.info

Ladies Next Generation Bible Study will be held downtown at 5:15-7 p.m Contact Anne Fontaine for more information.
Vacation Bible School
Our Vacation Bible School will start next Monday, August 2nd through the 6th. The theme for this year is, "Sea Quest, Diving for God's Treasure." PK-6th grade (grade completed) 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m. There is a suggested $3.00 donation per child. This will help cover some of the incidental cost of the crafts, snacks, materials and etc. Come in to sign up prior to Vaction Bible School at the church office.

We have changed our worship format to: 1st Service (8AM) Traditional Worship; 2nd Service (10:30AM) Contemporary Worship.
Youth Group
The Youth Group will resume their regular Sunday evening meetings @ 5 p.m.in the fall. Teens are invited to come have some fun and be challenged about the things of God.
Ladies Bible Study
The ladies will resume their study in the fall. Check out the Next Generation Ladies Bible Study on Wednesday Evening.
Angel Food Ministry
July's distribution is this Saturday,the 31st of July, between 8:30 & 10:30 a.m. Bring a laundry basket,box or bags to help carry your food. Come to the N.W. double glass door entry between the modular and the church building. Line up behind the car in front of you, pick up your food and then pull straight out. Please don't park in the parking zones, as this will avoid your being blocked in and having to wait to get out. If you have any questions please call the office at 219-462-1533. Bless someone with a donated unit of food. Menu's can be located also on www.angelfoodministries.com. Order online or come in to the office Monday-Thursday 9-2. We take EBT cards on Monday's between 9-2 p.m.
Bible Reading
Bible Reading Record Forms are available at the information desk. You can systematically read through 3 chapters a day using the Bible Reading Record Form, or some other format. Be sure to let Pastor Jim know when you finish. Be a part of the Bible Reading Class of 2010. Make a commitment to read at least a chapter a day in your Bible.
Monday Night Bible Study
Monday evening's at 7 p.m. in the Board Room. We are studying the Gospel of John. Come and join us for a great time in the Word.
Next Generation
Next Generation is geared for the 20's to 30's adults. "Alternative Christian Services” will be held on Friday nights at 7 p.m. The "Next Generation" coffee house and juice bar is located downtown at 114 Lincolnway in Valparaiso.
Men's Monthly Breakfast
The men meet at the Viking Chili Bowl, every second Thursday of the month, at 8:30am. The next breakfas will be on the 12th of August. All men welcome!
Blood Drive
We will be hosting a blood drive for the American Red Cross on Satuday, August the 7th. 9-2 P.M. Please help the poor, elderly and sick with your blood donation.
Paper Drive
We are collecting News Paper to help the Humane Society of Hobart. There is a shopping cart by the back N.W. doors. Please contact Tim at the church for more information.
