AWANA Club

VCA Elementary
We host Victory Christian Academy's elementary school. VCA is an independent, non-denominational Christian School serving Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties, offering classes for preschool through 12th grade. For more information, visit: www.vcacademy.info

Angel Food Ministry
June pick up is this Saturday(27th),8:30-10:30. Bring a laundry basket or box to help carry your food. Come to the N.W. double glass door entry between the modular and the church building. Don't park in the parking zones. Line up, pick up your food and then pull straight out. This avoids being blocked in and having to wait to get out.

Next Generation
Next Generation is geared for the 20's to 30's adults. Come join us Saturday evenings, 7 p.m. at the "Next Generation" coffee house and juice bar. Located at 114 Lincolnway in Valparaiso.
Sunday Morning Services
Worship Service 8 a.m. and 10:30. Come join us at either service and don't forget Sunday School at 9:15 a.m.
Bible Reading Form for 2009
You can systematically read through 3 chapters a day using the Bible that Pastor Brian offered or using the Bible Reading Record Form, or some other format. Be sure to let Pastor Jim know when you finish. Be a part of the Bible Reading Class of 2009.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School starts August 3-7th between 9 and 11:30 a.m. See JoAnn Elkins for volunteering or to help with donating food, helping with children, games, teaching, etc. and any other information.
Youth
There are no weekly meetings for the summer. Planned activities for July. On the 1st: Bowling at Inmans: 5-8 p.m. A $1 per game & a $1 for shoe rental. July 21st-Zao Island: 4-8 p.m. $10 for 3 bumper cars, 3 go karts, unlimitied golf and slide. $15 for 5 bumper cars, 5 go karts, unlimited golf & slide. Pay when you get there,see Shari. The youth group will have regular meeting on Sunday evenings 6-8 p.m. beginning in the fall. Teens are invited to come have some fun and be challenged about the things of God.
Lord's Supper
To be observed this Sunday after both Worship service's.
VCA Praise Team
VCA Praise Team will be sharing their songs with us on Sunday July 12th during the S.S.hour. Come join us and see what these young people have to share.
Women's Bible Study
The Ladies normally meet on Wednesdays at 11 a.m. in the Board Room, but will not be meeting now until after the summer months.
Quarterly Meeting
The Quarterly Meeting will be held on Sunday,July 26th.
